Established by Charles Guenette in 1934 at the back of the family owned hardware store. |

In 1959 the existing building was built at 108 Byng Ave. | |

In 1972 Francois E. Guenette purchased all the shares of the funeral home from his brothers. | |

In 1986 Jules D. Joly purchased shares in the business and bought the remaining shares in 1990. | |

The first three years Jules D. Joly made extensive renovations to the interior of the building and in 1995 built an addition to make the building accessible to all. | |
