We regret to announce the death of Denis Giasson on January 10, 2017 at Sensenbrenner Hospital at the age of 62 years. In his spare time, Denis enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially if he was fishing, classic cars, and being with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Jessica; his sons: Michael of North Bay and Dave husband of Leah of Bowmanville; two grandchildren: Mackenna and Carter; as well as three brothers: Gery of British Columbia, Bob of Michigan, and Louis Giasson of Kapuskasing. He was predeceased by his parents Romuald and Madeleine Giasson.

Denis will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, January 16th at St. Patrick's church at 2:30 p.m. with Father Hervé Sauvé officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Kidney Foundation of Canada would be greatly appreciated. ©


Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Denis Giasson le mardi 10 janvier 2017 à l’Hôpital Sensenbrenner à l'âge de 62 ans. Comme passe-temps, Denis aimait passer du temps dans la nature, surtout à la pêche, les autos classiques, et être avec sa famille.

Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse, Jessica; deux fils: Michael de North Bay et Dave époux de Leah de Bowmanville; deux petits-enfants : Mackenna et Carter; ainsi que trois frères : Gery de British Columbia, Bob de Michigan, et Louis Giasson de Kapuskasing. Il fut prédécédé par ses parents, Romuald et Madeleine Giasson.

Denis reposera au Salon Funéraire Guenette dimanche 14h à 16h et 19h à 21h. La Célébration Eucharistique aura lieu le lundi 16 janvier, en l'église St. Patrick à 14h30 avec Père Hervé Sauvé comme célébrant. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à la Fondation canadienne du rein. ©
