We regret to announce the death of Frances Matthews on Friday, February 24, 2017 at the Notre Dame Hospital in Hearst at the age of 64. She is survived by her children, Natasha Matthews of Kapuskasing, James Matthews of Hearst and Morningstar Matthews of Thunder Bay, three siblings, Shirley Chum, Hannah Myers and Daniel Chum of Constance Lake, as well as four grandchildren, K.O., Mason, Ethan and Toby. She was predeceased by her husband Daniel Matthews, her sister, Maureen Martin and a granddaughter Mariah. Frances Matthews will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Sunday, March 5 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, March 6th at St. Mark's Anglican church at 10:30 a.m. with Reverend Valerie Isaac officiating. ©
