We regret to announce the death of John Szczaurski on April 8, 2017 at Kapuskasing at the age of 70 years. In his spare time, John loved being in the outdoors and if he wasn't gardening or working in his backyard, would often go for rides in the bush. He also enjoyed planting trees, as well as cutting them for firewood.

He is survived by his wife, Lynn; his daughters: Charlene Jones, and Jennifer Dubosq (Robert) both of Kapuskasing; his grandchildren: Dylan, Cayden, Marissa, and Chanelle; as well as one sister, Genia Dufresne (John) of Kapuskasing. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Mary Szczaurski.

John Szczaurski will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Thursday, April 13th beginning at 1:00 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Father Hervé Sauvé officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Diabetes Canada or the Multiple Sclerosis Society would be greatly appreciated. ©



Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de John Szczaurski le samedi 8 avril 2017 à l'âge de 70 ans. Comme passe-temps, John aimait être en plein air, et s’il n’y était pas dans son jardin ou dans sa cours arrière, il allait souvent pour des randonnées dans la forêt. Il aimait aussi planter des arbres et couper le bois.

Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse, Lynn; ses filles: Charlene Jones, et Jennifer Dubosq (Robert) tous de Kapuskasing; ses petits-enfants : Dylan, Cayden, Marissa, et Chanelle; ainsi qu’une soeur, Genia Dufresne (John) de Kapuskasing. Il fut prédécédé par ses parents, John et Mary Szczaurski.

John Szczaurski reposera au Salon Funéraire Guenette le jeudi 13 avril à partir de 13h. La Célébration Eucharistique suivra à 13h30 à la chapelle du salon funéraire avec Père Hervé Sauvé comme célébrant. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à Diabète Canada ou la Société de sclérose en plaques. ©
