We regret to announce the death of Kellie Whelan (Charlebois) on Friday, May 26, 2017 at Health Sciences North at the age of 54 after a long and courageous battle with Lupus. She enjoyed camping, fishing, travelling and cooking. She is survived by loving husband Mike Charlebois of Kapuskasing, her daughter; Kyla Whelan (Scott Johnston) of Timmins, her siblings; Louise Schmidt (Manfred) of Kapuskasing, Patricia Belisle (Syl) of Timmins, Stephen Whelan (Theresa), Randy Whelan (Jaquei) and Chris Whelan (Sandy) of Edmonton, Jeffrey (Bea) of Burlington, Darrell (Melanie) of Houston, B.C. and Tim Whelan of Bowden, AB, numerous nieces and nephews as well as her four legged companions; Bailey and Daisy. She was predeceased by her parents, Stella Coleman and Ken Chrysler, one brother; Michael Whelan. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 5 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kapuskasing Cemetery with Father Hervé Sauvé officiating.
