Obituary for Solange "Sally" Harrison

Solange "Sally"  Harrison
We regret to announce the death of Solange Harrison on June 15, 2017 in Kapuskasing at the age of 82 years. Sally was an active member of our community having been part of the North Centennial Manor Ladies Auxiliary, the Golden Age Club, and the Silver Seniors Club. In her spare time, she enjoyed travelling, playing cards, reading and music.

She is survived by her two sons: Ronald (Trudy) and Donald (Evelyn) all of Kapuskasing; four grandchildren: Steven, Tracy-Lynn, Jenny-Lee, and Kurtis; two great-grandchildren: Khodi, and Ella; as well as two sisters: Yvette Germain of Cochrane and Angèle Lozier of Gatineau; and one brother, Norbert Lafontaine of Thunder Bay. She was predeceased by her parents; Ernest and Blanche Lafontaine; and two brothers: Jean-Paul and Laurent Lafontaine.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 26 at 10:30 a.m. at the Kapuskasing Cemetery with Rev. Valerie Isaac officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. ©



Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Solange Harrison le jeudi 15 juin 2017 à Kapuskasing à l'âge de 82 ans. Sally était une membre active de la communauté et était impliquée avec l’Auxiliaire féminin du Manoir North Centennial, le Club de l’âge d’Or, et le Club Silver Seniors. Comme passe-temps, elle aimait voyager, jouer aux cartes, lire et la musique.

Elle laisse dans le deuil ses deux fils: Ronald (Trudy) et Donald (Evelyn) tous de Kapuskasing; quatre petits-enfants: Steven, Tracy-Lynn, Jenny-Lee, et Kurtis; deux arrière-petits-enfants: Khodi, et Ella; ainsi que deux soeurs: Yvette Germain de Cochrane et Angèle Lozier de Gatineau; et un frère, Norbert Lafontaine de Thunder Bay. Elle fut prédécédée par ses parents; Ernest et Blanche Lafontaine; et deux frères: Jean-Paul et Laurent Lafontaine.

Un service commémoratif aura lieu le lundi 26 juin à 10h30 au Cimetière de Kapuskasing avec la Révérende Valerie Isaac comme célébrant. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à la Société canadienne du cancer. ©
