We regret to announce the death of James “Jim” Godard on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at Timmins & District Hospital at the age of 50. When he was a young boy, he was the poster child for the Easter Seals campaign. Jim had a wonderful sense of humour and enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends. He was also a former member of the Kinsmen Club. Jim is survived by his parents, Deanna and Jean-Guy; his siblings: Wanda Gaouette (Rick), Patsy Thériault (Réjean) and Chris of Kapuskasing; his nieces and nephews: Kayla, Ethan, Ireland, Schyler and Faith; and one great nephew, Gunner. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 23 at St. Patrick's church at 10:30 a.m. with Father Hervé Sauvé officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Diabetes Canada or the Hospital for Sick Children would be greatly appreciated. ©
