It is with great sadness that we announce the death of a loving wife, mother, sister and Nana, Anne Rusnak on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at the North Centennial Manor at the age of 80. She was a well respected nurse for many years at Sensenbrenner Hospital and volunteered there after her retirement. She enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, skiing, skating and hunting and was an accomplished quilter. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Steve, and her two sons Steven Jr. (Monica) of South Porcupine and Andrew (Shari) of Kapuskasing. She was predeceased by her daughter Mary Elizabeth. Anne will also be missed by her two dear sisters, Mildred Hilgendorf of Toronto and Marilyn McDonald of Sault Ste. Marie. Anne loved her five grandchildren with all her heart and spent many happy hours at the arena watching each of them play hockey. Brett, Tye, Jarod, Aubrey, and Korey will miss their Nana. Anne Rusnak will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 16th at St. Patrick's church at 10:30 a.m. with Father Hervé Sauvé officiating.
