We regret to announce the death of Elmer Geno on December 6, 2017 at Sensenbrenner Hospital at the age of 72 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed being in the outdoors, especially fishing, camping, and four-wheeling with his family. Elmer had worked at Spruce Falls as a power engineer for his entire career, spanning over 30 years.

He will be greatly missed by his two daughters: Vicky Geno-Brixhe (Luc) of Cornwall and Carol Geno-Harris of Mesa, Arizona; two siblings: Fred Geno (Mary) and Bernice Murphy (Nelson) all of Kapuskasing; as well as three grandchildren: Brianna, Alexa and Jack. He was predeceased by his parents, Viola and Arthur Geno; and one brother, Gordon. At his request, there will be no visitation, nor service. As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. ©



Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Elmer Geno le mercredi 6 décembre 2017 à l’Hôpital Sensenbrenner à l'âge de 72 ans. Comme passe-temps, il aimait être dans la nature, surtout faire de la pêche, le camping et aller en promenade de véhicules tous-terrains. Il a travaillé à la Spruce Falls comme ingénieur électricien pendant toute sa carrière.

Il laisse dans le deuil ses deux filles: Vicky Geno-Brixhe (Luc) de Cornwall et Carol Geno-Harris de Mesa, Arizona; un frère et une sœur : Fred Geno (Mary) et Bernice Murphy (Nelson) tous de Kapuskasing; ainsi que trois petits-enfants: Brianna, Alexa et Jack. Il fut prédécédé par ses parents, Viola et Arthur Geno; et un frère, Gordon. Il n’aura pas de visites ni de service. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à l’œuvre de bienfaisance de votre choix. ©
