Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Marc Trudeau le mercredi 17 janvier 2018 à l’Hôpital Sensenbrenner à l'âge de 46 ans. Comme passe-temps, Marc aimait jouer aux quilles, nager, pêcher et aller au chalet. Marc était un athlète accompli, ayant remporté plusieurs rubans et médailles lors de compétitions aux niveaux régionaux et provinciaux des Jeux Olympiques spéciaux. Il a été sélectionné également pour les compétitions de natation aux Jeux nationaux de 1994 à Halifax.

Il laisse dans le deuil ses parents : Gilbert et Georgette; sa sœur: Lise Anne Gaudet (Daniel) de Témiscaming, PQ; sa nièce et son neveu Danika et Zacharie; plusieurs oncles, tantes, cousins et cousines; ainsi que son grand ami, Eugène Jean. Il fut prédécédé par ses grands-parents: Armand et Bella Trudeau et Benoit et Cecilia Bernard; son cousin, Jeffrey Baril, ainsi que ses oncles Édouard Bernard, Denis Trudeau, Jean-Paul Trudeau, Harry Johnston et Ted McKenney.

Marc reposera au Salon Funéraire Guenette vendredi de 19h à 21h. La Célébration Eucharistique aura lieu le samedi 3 février à 10h30 en l'église St-Patrick avec Père Hervé Sauvé comme célébrant. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons aux Jeux Olympiques spéciaux de Kapuskasing. ©



We regret to announce the death of Marc Trudeau on January 17, 2018 at Sensenbrenner Hospital at the age of 46 years. In his spare time, Marc enjoyed bowling, swimming, fishing and going to the cottage. Marc was an accomplished athlete with the Special Olympics who competed and won multiple ribbons and medals at both the regional and provincial levels. He was also selected to compete at the1994 National Games in Halifax, where he competed in swimming.

He will be greatly missed by his parents: Gilbert and Georgette, his sister: Lise Anne Gaudet (Daniel) of Témiscaming, PQ, his niece and nephew: Danika and Zacharie; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; as well as his great friend, Eugène Jean. He was predeceased by his grandparents: Armand and Bella Trudeau and Benoit and Cecilia Bernard; his cousin Jeffrey Baril as well as his uncles: Edouard Bernard, Denis Trudeau, Jean-Paul Trudeau, Harry Johnston and Ted McKenney.

Marc will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Friday, February 2nd from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 3rd at 10:30 a.m. at St-Patrick church with Father Hervé Sauvé officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Special Olympics Kapuskasing would be greatly appreciated. ©
