Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès d’Adrien Dery, le jeudi 18 janvier 2018, à l'âge de 81 ans. Il adorait écouter la musique et pouvait jouer plusieurs instruments, tels le piano, la guitare et l’harmonica. Adrien était un mécanicien toute sa vie et était un vrai « MacGyver » qui pouvait patenter n’importe quoi à partir de rien. Il était souvent occupé à travailler dans son garage, ou il allait visiter ses voisins pour les aider avec des petits travaux.

Il laisse dans le deuil sa conjointe, Yolande Meilleur; ses enfants: Daniella (Gilbert Landriault) de Brampton, Carol de Val-Gagné, Marc (Claudette) de Rockland, Doris (Gervais) de Québec et Karolyn Dery (Simon) de Rimouski; ainsi que plusieurs frères, sœurs, petits-enfants et arrière-petits-enfants. Il fut prédécédé par ses parents, Osias et Rose-Anna.

Adrien Dery reposera au Salon Funéraire Guenette le mardi 23 janvier à compter de 13 heures. Un service commémoratif suivra à 15 heures dans la chapelle du salon funéraire avec Père Gérald Chalifoux comme célébrant. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à la Fondation des maladies du cœur. ©




We regret to announce the death of Adrien Dery on January 18, 2018 at the age of 81 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed listening to music and was able to play several instruments, such as the piano, guitar, and harmonica. Adrien was a lifelong mechanic and was a real “MacGyver” who could make anything out of nothing. He was often found working in his garage or out visiting his neighbours to help them make little repairs.

He will be greatly missed by his spouse, Yolande Meilleur; his children: Daniella (Gilbert Landriault) of Brampton, Carol of Val Gagné, Marc (Claudette) of Rockland, Doris (Gervais) of Québec, and Karolyn Dery (Simon) of Rimouski; as well as many brothers, sisters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Osias and Rose-Anna.

Adrien Dery will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 23rd beginning at 1:00 p.m. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with Father Gérald Chalifoux officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. ©
