Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Philippe Tourigny le samedi 17 mars 2018 à North Centennial Manor à Kapuskasing à l'âge de 72 ans. Il était un membre actif des Chevaliers de Colomb de Kapuskasing, ainsi que le conseil de Kitchener, et a desservi en plusieurs capacités. Quand il était plus jeune, il était un athlète qui jouait au baseball, aux quilles, et parfois au ballon-balai. Phil était facteur pour Postes Canada pendant 33 ans.

Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse, Denise; enfants: Linda McDougall (Michael) et Kim Laughlin tous de Kitchener; quatre petits-enfants: Christopher, Brittany, Hailey et Owen; cinq frères: Robert (Germaine) d'Ottawa, Claude (Lucile) de Pembroke, Raymond (Jocelyne) de Sault Ste. Marie, Charles de Thunder Bay et Henri Tourigny (Réjeanne) de Kapuskasing; et quatre soeurs: Denise Fortin, Rita Gagnon, Elizabeth Guindon et Colette Ethier tous de Kapuskasing. Il fut prédécédé par ses parents, Rosaire et Marguerite Tourigny; et cinq frères: Normand, Marcel, Roger, André et Gilles Tourigny.

Phil Tourigny reposera au Salon Funéraire Guenette mercredi de 19h à 21h. La Célébration Eucharistique aura lieu le jeudi 22 mars, à 11h00 en l'église St Patrick avec Père Hervé Sauvé comme célébrant. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à la Société Alzheimer ou le Manoir North Centennial. ©



We regret to announce the death of Philippe Tourigny on March 17, 2018 at North Centennial Manor at the age of 72 years. He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus of Kapuskasing as well as the Kitchener council, having served in many capacities. In his younger days, he was an avid sportsman who enjoyed playing baseball, bowling, and occasionally, broomball. Phil was a letter carrier for Canada Post for over 33 years.

He will be greatly missed by his wife, Denise; his daughters: Linda McDougall (Michael) and Kim Laughlin all of Kitchener; four grandchildren: Christopher, Brittany, Hailey and Owen; five brothers: Robert (Germaine) of Ottawa, Claude (Lucile) of Pembroke, Raymond (Jocelyne) of Sault Ste. Marie, Charles of Thunder Bay and Henri Tourigny (Réjeanne) of Kapuskasing; and four sisters: Denise Fortin, Rita Gagnon, Elizabeth Guindon, and Colette Ethier all of Kapuskasing. He was predeceased by his parents, Rosaire and Marguerite Tourigny; and five brothers: Normand, Marcel, Roger, André and Gilles Tourigny.

Phil Tourigny will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Wednesday from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 22nd at 11:00 a.m. St. Patrick's church with Father Hervé Sauvé officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society or the North Centennial Manor would be greatly appreciated. ©
