We regret to announce the death of Adelaide Savard on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Sensenbrenner Hospital at the age of 85. She owned and operated Adele's Coffee Bar. She enjoyed baking, knitting. She is survived by her daughter Irene Courchaine (Henri) of Kapuskasing, one son-in-law, Leonard Benson of Kapuskasing, two sisters, Katherine of Chalk River and Estelle of Thunder Bay, five grandchildren, Wayne, Lauri-Anne, David, Tammy and Danielle, ten great-grandchildren, Manon, Jessie-Mae, Benny, Natasha, Paige, Jeremiah, Adelaide, Ira, Levi and Kirstin, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Charles, one daughter, Madeleine Benson, one son-in-law, Daniel O'Connor, five siblings, Emile Bertrand, Dolly Bertrand, Bernard Bertrand, Isabelle Tibert and Marguerite Jeanveau. Adelaide Savard will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Sunday, April 12 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, April 13th at Notre-Dame-des-Victoires church at 10:30 a.m. with Father Hervé Sauvé officiating. Burial to follow at the Saint Anne's cemetery in Mattawa. As expressions of sympathy, masses in memory of Adelaide would be greatly appreciated. ©

Elle fut prédécédée par son époux Charles, une fille, Madeleine Benson, un gendre, Daniel O'Connor, ses frères et sœurs, Émile Bertrand, Dolly Bertrand, Bernard Bertrand, Isabelle Thibert et Marguerite Jeanveau. Adelaide Savard reposera au Salon Funéraire Guenette le dimanche 12 avril de 14h à 16h et 19h à 21h. La célébration eucharistique aura lieu le lundi 13 avril en l'église Notre-Dame-des-Victoires à 10h30 avec le Père Hervé Sauvé comme célébrant. L'inhumation suivra au cimetière Sainte-Anne à Mattawa. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des offrandes de messes. ©
