Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès hâtif d’Alain Gagnon, à l'âge de 62 ans, le mercredi 1er juin 2022, à l’Hôpital Sensenbrenner. Comme passe-temps, Alain aimait faire la pêche et la chasse. Il aimait tellement passer du temps en famille et avec ses ami(e)s. Un homme de grand cœur, Alain aurait donné sa chemise pour aider les autres. Alain était un mécanicien qui a travaillé pendant 37 ans chez OK Tire.
Alain manquera grandement à son épouse, Mona; sa fille, Nathalie Lessard (Denis) de Val Rita; ses petits-enfants : Katie, Carter, Jean-Pierre, et Maud; trois frères et sœurs : Jocelyne Guenette (Claude) de Kapuskasing, Jacynthe Gagnon (André Veilleux) de Montréal et Gracien Gagnon (Cécile) de Longlac; ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces. Il fut prédécédé par son fils, Pierre; ses parents, Georges et Henriette; et deux frères, Serge et Réjean.
La Célébration eucharistique aura lieu le samedi 11 juin 2022, à 14h00, en l'église Nativité-de-Marie, avec Père Gérald Chalifoux comme célébrant. L’inhumation suivra au Cimetière de Moonbeam. La famille sera très reconnaissante de dons à la Fondation des maladies du cœur comme témoignages de sympathie. ©
We regret to announce the sudden death of Alain Gagnon at 62 years old, Wednesday, June 1st, 2022, at Sensenbrenner Hospital. In his spare time, Alain enjoyed fishing and hunting. He absolutely loved spending time with his family and his friends. A man with a big heart, he would have given his shirt to help others. Alain was a mechanic who worked for 37 years at OK Tire.
Alain will be greatly missed by his wife, Mona; his daughter, Nathalie Lessard (Denis) of Val Rita; his grandchildren: Katie, Carter, Jean-Pierre, and Maud; three siblings: Jocelyne Guenette (Claude) of Kapuskasing, Jacynthe Gagnon (André Veilleux) of Montréal and Gracien Gagnon (Cécile) of Longlac; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Pierre; his parents, Georges and Henriette; and two brothers, Serge and Réjean.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., at Nativité-de-Marie church with Father Gérald Chalifoux as officiant. Burial will follow at the Moonbeam Cemetery. The family would greatly appreciate donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation as expressions of sympathy.
