We regret to announce the death of Albina Richard on March 6, 2016 at Sensenbrenner Hospital at the age of 76 years. Albina was a past member of the Cercle de Fermières and the U.C.F.O. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casino, crafting, cooking and being in nature; she especially loved bird watching.

She will be greatly missed by her husband, Edward Horn; four sons: Gilles spouse of Micheline Morin of Hearst, Yves spouse of Angela of Beardmore, Robert spouse of Pauline of Strickland, and Denis Richard of Barrie; three daughters: Solange Richard, Yolande Lamontagne spouse of Jules Routhier all of Kapuskasing, and Joanne Meilleur spouse of Denis of Cochrane; two sisters: Alexandrine Duguay of Montreal, and Evelyne Grzela of Fauquier; five brothers: Hilaire of Thunder Bay, Adelbert of Geraldton, Lazarre, Valmond, and Daniel Duguay all of Kapuskasing; as well as 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by one son, Claude Richard; and her parents: Alexandre and Adèle Duguay.

Albina Richard will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 10th at St. Patrick's at 10:30 a.m. with Father Hervé Sauvé officiating. Spring burial will be held at the Fauquier Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. ©

Comme passe-temps, elle aimait jouer au bingo, aller au casino, faire de l'artisanat, faire de la cuisson, et être dans la nature; surtout regarder les oiseaux.

Elle laisse pour pleurer sa perte son époux, Edward Horn; quatre fils: Gilles conjoint de Micheline Morin de Hearst, Yves conjoint de Angela de Beardmore, Robert conjoint de Pauline de Strickland, et Denis Richard de Barrie; trois filles: Solange Richard, Yolande Lamontagne conjointe de Jules Routhier tous de Kapuskasing, et Joanne Meilleur conjointe de Denis de Cochrane; deux soeurs: Alexandrine Duguay de Montréal, et Evelyne Grzela de Fauquier; cinq frères: Hilaire de Thunder Bay, Adelbert de Geraldton, Lazarre, Valmond, et Daniel Duguay tous de Kapuskasing; ainsi que 13 petits-enfants et 9 arrière-petits-enfants. Elle fut prédécédée par un fils, Claude Richard; et ses parents: Alexandre et Adèle Duguay.

Albina Richard reposera au Salon Funéraire Guenette mercredi de 14h à 16h et 19h à 21h. La Célébration Eucharistique aura lieu le jeudi 10 mars, en l'église St. Patrick à 10h30 avec Père Hervé Sauvé comme célébrant. L'inhumation printanière suivra au Cimetière de Fauquier. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à la Fondation des maladies du coeur. ©
