We regret to announce the death of Alf Thrones on Sunday, August 10, 2014 at the Sensenbrenner Hospital at the age of 68. He is survived by his wife Rose of Kapuskasing, five siblings, Gladys Matte (Joseph), Barbara Hébert (Fred) of Moonbeam, Ronnie Thrones (Yollande) of Hearst, Grace Leppanen (Karl) of Thunder Bay and Sandra Thrones (Michael) of Peterborough, as well as many nieces and nephews. Alf Thrones will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Thursday, August 14th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, August 15th at the Kapuskasing Cemetery at 10:30 a.m. with Elder Paul Van der Wouden officiating. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse Rose de Kapuskasing, quatre sœurs, Gladys Matte (Joseph), Barbara Hébert (Fred) de Moonbeam, Grace Leppanen (Karl) de Thunder Bay et Sandra Thrones (Michael) de Peterborough, un frère, Ronnie Thrones (Yollande) de Hearst, ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces. Alf Thrones reposera au Salon Funéraire Guenette le jeudi 14 août de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h. Le service funèbre aura lieu le vendredi 15 août au cimetière de Kapuskasing à 10h30 avec l’ancien Paul Van Der Wouden comme célébrant.
