Obituary for / Nécrologie pour Alve Johnson
We regret to announce the death of Alve Johnson, at the age of 84 years, on Thursday, April 28, 2022, at Sensenbrenner Hospital. In his spare time, Alve enjoyed playing pool, playing cards - especially cribbage with Marion - and at the Legion. He loved to garden also.
Alve will be greatly missed by his wife, Marion; his children: Steven (Lynn) of Kapuskasing, Lee-Ann Babin (Denis) of Minden, and Susan Smith (Russ) of Kapuskasing; his seven grandchildren: Brigitte, Ryan, Lisa, Philippe, Riley, Eric, and Madison; three great-grandchildren: Clark, Elizabeth, and Elea; and his brother: Kent Johnson (Ricki) of Terrace Bay. He was predeceased by his parents, Axel and Ingaborg.
A private funeral service was held for Alve at the Guenette Funeral Home. The family would greatly appreciate donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Sensenbrenner Hospital’s Respiratory Therapy Department as expressions of sympathy. ©

Alve manquera grandement à son épouse, Marion; ses enfants : Steven (Lynn) de Kapuskasing, Lee-Ann Babin (Denis) de Minden, et Susan Smith (Russ) de Kapuskasing; ses sept petits-enfants : Brigitte, Ryan, Lisa, Philippe, Riley, Eric, et Madison; trois arrière-petits-enfants : Clark, Elizabeth, et Elea; ainsi qu’un frère, Kent Johnson (Ricki) de Terrace Bay. Il fut prédécédé par ses parents, Axel et Ingaborg.
Un service funéraire privé a eu lieu au Salon Funéraire Guenette. La famille sera très reconnaissante de dons à la Fondation des maladies du cœur ou Service de thérapie respiratoire de l’Hôpital Sensenbrenner comme témoignages de sympathie. ©
