Condolence: My condolences to Sandra and the family over Barrys passing. Barry was a great Copper and a great Mason. In Masonry one of the beliefs is that if you were respected in life and remembered once you pass then you have had a good life.Barry was indeed successfull at both. Rest in peace Barry. Condolence: Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time Sandra and family. Barry will be missed by all the friends and family that he encountered over his 33 years of policing in Kapuskasing.(he ticketed me for parking in handicapped parking at Sensenbrenner after hours when I had just run in to give my replacement the pager but we could laugh about it afterwards after all he was doing his duty) R.I.P. Condolence From: Carm & Florence Noble. Mount Forest Ontario
Condolence: So sorry to hear news like this about Barry. My (Carm) knowledge about Barry was thru the OPPVA when we met at the AGM where ever it was. Barry always took time to have a chat about whatever, as a Director of the OPPVA for many years, it was obvious that he was a great supporter of us and many other organizations.

Condolence: As a young offender in Kap back in the 80's, I was well known to Officer Dwyer and his colleagues, and I need to express that in all of my encounters with Mr Dwyer, he was always first class. I was treated with respect and empathy. There was an occasion where he needed to escort me in handcuffs on a flight to Sudbury where we ended up making the best of what could have been an awkward couple of hours with good conversation and a lot of laughing. I admired and respected him. He was a positive male role model that was lacking in my life at the time. My heartfelt condolences to his family.
