Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Cécile Lepage le vendredi 23 août à l'Hôpital de Timmins et du district à l'âge de 96 ans. Elle fut membre du Club de l'âge d'or de Fauquier. Elle aimait jouer aux cartes et aux rondelles, cuisiner, jardiner, nourrir et observer les oiseaux, le ski de fond, la motoneige, la pêche sur la glace et contempler la nature. Elle laisse dans le deuil son cher époux de 69 ans Benoît de Fauquier; ses filles : Joëlle Lepage (Paul Castonguay) de Gatineau, Edith Lepage-Crête (Daniel) de Trenton et Chantal Lepage-Dagenais (Gaston) de Kapuskasing, ses frères et sœurs : Thérèse Blouin, Fernande Albert, Claudette Filion, Lionel Filion, Réal Filion et Rosaire Filion; ainsi que quatre petits-enfants : Marie-Eve, François, Jean-Philippe et Simon-Pierre; deux arrière-petits-enfants : Félix et Théodore. Elle fut prédécédée par ses parents: Lydia et Arthur Filion, sept frères : Rosaire, René, Paulo, Aurèle, Léon, Roland et Aimé Filion. Cécile Lepage reposera au Salon Funéraire Guenette le mardi 27 août de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h. La célébration eucharistique aura lieu le mercredi 28 août en l'église Sainte-Agnès à 10h30 avec le Père Fernand Villeneuve comme célébrant. L'inhumation suivra au cimetière de Moonbeam. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à la charité de votre choix ou des offrandes de messes. ©

We regret to announce the death of Cécile Lepage on Friday, August 23, 2019 at the Timmins and District Hospital at the age of 96. She was a member of the Fauquier Golden Age Club. She enjoyed playing cards, washers, cooking, gardening, feeding and admiring the birds, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling and ice fishing. She is survived by her husband of 69 years Benoît of Fauquier; her daughters: Joëlle Lepage (Paul Castonguay) of Gatineau, Edith Lepage-Crête (Daniel) of Trenton and Chantal Lepage-Dagenais (Gaston) of Kapuskasing; her siblings: Thérèse Blouin, Fernande Albert, Claudette Filion, Lionel Filion, Réal Filion and Rosaire Filion; as well as four grandchildren: Marie-Eve, François, Jean-Philippe and Simon-Pierre; two great-grandsons: Félix and Théodore. She was predeceased by he parents: Lydia and Arthur Filion, seven brothers: Rosaire, René, Paulo, Aurèle, Léon, Roland and Aimé Filion. Cécile Lepage will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 27 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 28th at Ste. Agnès church at 10:30 a.m. with Father Fernand Villeneuve officiating. Burial to follow at the Moonbeam Cemetery.
