Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Cécile Turgeon le vendredi 27 avril 2018 à Extendicare Kapuskasing à l'âge de 92 ans. Comme passe-temps, elle aimait faire du jardinage, de la courtepointe, de la couture, allez danser et dans ses dernières années, jouer au Bingo. Elle était ancienne membre des Filles d'Isabelle et du Club de l’Âge d’Or.

Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants: Julien (Céline) de Cochrane, Conrad (Francine) de Kapuskasing, Bertrand de Kapuskasing, Normand (Mary-Lou) de Sault Ste. Marie, Raymond (Germaine) de Kapuskasing, Lisette Frechette (Léo) de London, Jacques (Nancy) de Wawa, Maurice (Jane) de London, Claude (Roséanne Dubosq) de Kapuskasing, Noëlla Gauthier (Renaud) de White River, et Gaston Turgeon (Sandy Powell) de Midland; une belle-fille: Aline Turgeon de Sault Ste. Marie; six frères: Adrien, Émile, Michel, Arsène, Félicien, et Jules Fournier; une soeur: Yvonne Fournier; ainsi que 29 petits-enfants, 50 arrière-petits-enfants et deux arrière-arrière-petits-enfants. Elle fut prédécédée par son époux, Athanase; un fils: François; un petit-fils, Derrick Turgeon; ainsi que trois frères: Rosaire, Léonard, et Samuel Fournier; et une soeur: Simone Cloutier.

Cécile Turgeon reposera au Salon Funéraire Guenette lundi de 14h à 16h et 19h à 21h. La Célébration Eucharistique aura lieu le mardi 1er mai à 10h30 en l'église Immaculée-Conception avec Père Gérald Chalifoux comme célébrant. L’inhumation printanière aura lieu au Cimetière de Kapuskasing. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons au Fonds de loisirs des résidents du foyer Extendicare. ©



We regret to announce the death of Cécile Turgeon on April 27, 2018 at Extendicare Kapuskasing at the age of 92 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, quilting, sewing, dancing, and in her later years, playing Bingo. She was a former member of the Daughter’s of Isabella and the Golden Age Club.

She will be greatly missed by her children: Julien (Céline) of Cochrane, Conrad (Francine) of Kapuskasing, Bertrand of Kapuskasing, Normand (Mary-Lou) of Sault Ste. Marie, Raymond (Germaine) of Kapuskasing, Lisette Frechette (Léo) of London, Jacques (Nancy) of Wawa, Maurice (Jane) of London, Claude (Roseanne Dubosq) of Kapuskasing, Noëlla Gauthier (Renaud) of White River, and Gaston (Sandy Powell) of Midland; one daughter-in-law: Aline Turgeon of Sault Ste. Marie; six brothers: Adrien, Émile, Michel, Arsène, Félicien, and Jules Fournier; one sister: Yvonne Fournier; as well as 29 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Athanase; one son: François; one grandson, Derrick Turgeon; as well as three brothers: Rosaire, Léonard, and Samuel Fournier; and one sister: Simone Cloutier.

Cécile Turgeon will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 1st at 10:30 a.m. at Immaculée-Conception at with Father Gérald Chalifoux officiating. Burial will be held in the spring at the Kapuskasing Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Extendicare Kapuskasing Residents' Fund would be greatly appreciated. ©
