Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Dorothy Chevrier le mercredi 1 juillet 2015 à l'Hôpital Sensenbrenner à l'âge de 82 ans. Elle aimait tricoter, coudre, tisser, jardiner et cueillir des framboises. Elle fut membre de l'UCFO et le Club de l'Âge d'or. Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants, Suzanne Chevrier-Charest (Alain), Denyse Chevrier (Donald Larochelle), Donald Chevrier (Chantal) d'Opasatika, Lucie Slade (Keith) d'Angus et Roger Chevrier (Micheline) d'Ottawa, trois sœurs : Muriel Newton, Audrey Langland et Evelyn Keeley (George) de Kapuskasing, une amie spéciale de la famille, Lorraine Hachez (Gilbert Mallais) de Moonbeam, ainsi que neuf petits-enfants : Kim Ann, Frankie, Amy, Valérie, Eric, Mélanie, Stéphanie, Nathalie et Martin, sept arrière-petits-enfants, Bryce, Marie-Eve, Ricky Léo, Mahélie, Chloé, Emma et Zander. Elle fut prédécédée par son époux, Gaston, trois sœurs, Elsie Honey, Margaret Bernard et Nellie Morrow. Dorothy Chevrier reposera au Salon Funéraire Guenette le vendredi 3 juillet de 14h à 16h et 19h à 21h. La célébration eucharistique aura lieu le samedi 4 juillet en l'église St-Antoine-de-Padoue à 15h00 avec le Père Gérald Chalifoux comme célébrant. L'inhumation suivra au cimetière d'Opasatika. We regret to announce the death of Dorothy Chevrier on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at the Sensenbrenner Hospital at the age of 82 years. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, weaving, gardening and raspberry picking. She was a member of the UCFO and the Golden Age Club. She is survived by her children, Suzanne Chevrier-Charest (Alain), Denyse Chevrier (Donald Larochelle), Donald Chevrier (Chantal) of Opasatika, Lucie Slade (Keith) of Angus and Roger Chevrier (Micheline) of Ottawa, three sisters, Muriel Newton, Audrey Langland and Evelyn Keeley (George) of Kapuskasing, a dear family friend, Lorraine Hachez (Gilbert Mallais) of Moonbeam, as well as nine grandchildren, Kim Ann, Frankie, Amy, Valérie, Eric, Mélanie, Stéphanie, Nathalie and Martin, seven great-grandchildren, Bryce, Marie-Eve, Ricky Léo, Mahélie, Chloé, Emma and Zander. She was predeceased by her husband Gaston, three sisters, Elsie Honey, Margaret Bernard and Nellie Morrow. Dorothy Chevrier will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Friday, from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 4th at the St-Antoine-de-Padoue church at 3:00 p.m. with Father Gerald Chalifoux officiating. Burial to follow at the Opasatika cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the St-Antoine-de-Padoue church would be greatly appreciated.
