Obituary for Earl Kosowan

Earl Kosowan
We regret to announce the death of Earl Kosowan on December 4, 2014 at Sensenbrenner Hospital at the age of 80 years. He was well known for his artistic talents around Kapuskasing in the1960s and 70s; most of the lettering on trucks and store banners were painted by Earl. In later years he was the owner of Classic Furniture Store. In his spare time, he enjoyed cooking, gardening, and especially singing; he could often be heard singing a song by one of his favourite singers, Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra.
He is survived by his wife, Marcelle; his children: Keith husband of Johane of Kapuskasing, Bryan of Toronto, Lesley of Orillia and Susan McDonald wife of Mike Green of Quesnel, BC; one grandson, Chevy McDonald; three siblings: Bill of Toronto, Marie Gagnon wife of Bryan of Kapuskasing and Leo husband of Winnie of Sudbury; as well as many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his parents, Gabe and Orfyna.
The funeral service will be held in the spring in the Chapel of the funeral home. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Sensenbrenner Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Julie Boucher, the nurses and staff of Long Term Care at the hospital for the excellent care Earl received during his stay. Your kindness will never be forgotten. ©
