Obituary for Edward Horn

Edward  Horn
We regret to announce the death of Edward Horn on February 19, 2019 at Sensenbrenner Hospital Kapuskasing at the age of 79 years. Ed was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion as well as a leader of the Army Cadets for many years. He had served two terms with the Canadian Army and after returning home, worked at the Kapuskasing Inn and Spruce Falls.

Left to mourn are his aunts: Noella Thrones and Dagmar Hooper; as well as many cousins. He was predeceased by his spouse, Albina Richard; his parents: Leanora and Norman Horn; and one sister, Eleanor.

Edward Horn will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Saturday, February 23rd beginning at 9:00 a.m. A funeral service will follow at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Father Hervé Sauvé officiating. Spring burial will be held at the Kapuskasing Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Sensenbrenner Hospital - CT Scan would be greatly appreciated. ©



Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Edward Horn le mardi 19 février 2019 à l’Hôpital Sensenbrenner à l'âge de 79 ans. Ed était un membre de la Légion royale canadienne et était un chef des Cadets de l’Armée. Il a servi deux tours dans l’Armée canadienne, et suivant son retour à la maison, il a travaillé au Kapuskasing Inn et chez Spruce Falls.

Il laisse dans le deuil ses tantes : Noëlla Thrones et Dagmar Hooper; ainsi que plusieurs cousins et cousines. Il fut prédécédé par sa conjointe, Albina Richard; ses parents: Leanora et Norman Horn; et une soeur, Eleanor.

Edward Horn reposera au Salon Funéraire Guenette le samedi 23 février à compter de 9h00. Le service funéraire suivra à 10h00 dans la chapelle du salon funéraire avec Père Hervé Sauvé comme célébrant. L’inhumation printanière aura lieu au Cimetière de Kapuskasing. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à l'Hôpital Sensenbrenner pour l'achat du tomodensitomètre. ©
