We regret to announce the death of Edward Kowalski on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at the Sensenbrenner Hospital at the age of 63. He was a sports enthusiast, he enjoyed skating, cycling, cross country skiing, hockey, badminton and football. He is survived by his daughter, Ashley of Casselman, his mother, Janina, three brothers: Zig, Roman husband of Lisa and Jerzy of Kapuskasing, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Roman. Edward Kowalski will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Sunday, October 16 from 7 – 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, October 17th at St. Patrick's church at 2:30 p.m. with Father Hervé Sauvé officiating. Burial will follow at the Kapuskasing Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. ©
