Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Emilienne Lafontaine can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès d’Émilienne Lafontaine le dimanche 7 juillet 2013 au Foyer Extendicare Kapuskasing à l'âge de 85 ans. Elle aimait la pêche, le camping et le bricolage. Elle était toujours là pour sa famille et adorait passer du temps avec ses enfants. Elle laisse dans le deuil son époux de 67 ans, Clermont, sept enfants, Reynald époux d'Estelle de Timmins, André époux de Juliette de Longlac, Huguette Imbeault épouse de feu Réal, Luc, Gaby Duhaime épouse de Fernand de Kapuskasing, Denis et Lucie Lafontaine-Isabelle épouse de Louis d'Opasatika, trois frères, Alphonse Dorval époux de Florence, Lucien Dorval époux de Louisianne et Roland Dorval époux de feue Gisèle d'Opasatika, deux sœurs, Lucienne Turgeon épouse de feu Léonard d'Opasatika et Rolande Dorval épouse de Bruyère Dulac de Varennes, Québec, ainsi que quinze petits-enfants : Bobby, Marc, Derek, Nathalie, Dany, Ricky, Nadia, Jimmy, Anny, Lisa, Tanya, Linda, Raymond, Sébastien et Justin; dix-neuf arrière-petits-enfants : Patrice, Philippe, Cameron, Samantha, Darcie, Maxime, Milan, Kayla, Stéphane, Kelsy, Matthy, Bradley, Mia, Julia, Danica, Noah, Jonathan, Nicholas, et Dylan. Elle fut prédécédée par quatre frères, Léo Dorval, Edmond Dorval, François Dorval et Fidèle Dorval, deux sœurs, Marie-Anna Nadeau et Françoise Monfette. La famille d’Émilienne accueillera parents et amies, le samedi 13 juillet à partir de 10h15 en l’église St-Antoine-de-Padoue, suivit par le service commémoratif à 11h00 avec le Diacre Jean Beausoleil comme célébrant. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à la Fondation des maladies du coeur.

We regret to announce the death of Emilienne Lafontaine on Sunday, July 7th at the Extendicare Kapuskasing at the age of 85. She enjoyed fishing, camping and crafting. She was always there for her family and enjoyed spending time with her children. She is survived by her husband of 67 years Clermont, seven children, Reynald husband of Estelle of Timmins, André husband of Juliette of Longlac, Huguette Imbeault wife of the late Réal, Luc, Gaby Duhaime wife of Fernand of Kapuskasing, Denis and Lucie Lafontaine-Isabelle wife of Louis of Opasatika, three brothers, Alphonse Dorval husband of Florence, Lucien Dorval husband of Louisianne and Roland Dorval husband of the late Gisèle of Opasatika, two sisters, Lucienne Turgeon wife of the late Léonard of Opasatika and Rolande Dorval wife of Bruyère Dulac of Varennes, Quebec, as well as fifteen grandchildren, Bobby, Marc, Derek, Nathalie, Dany, Ricky, Nadia, Jimmy, Anny, Lisa, Tanya, Linda, Raymond, Sébastien and Justin, nineteen great-grandchildren, Patrice, Philippe, Cameron, Samantha, Darcie, Maxime, Milan, Kayla, Stéphane, Kelsy, Matthy, Bradley, Mia, Julia, Danica, Noah, Jonathan, Nicholas and Dylan. She was predeceased by four brothers, Léo Dorval, Edmond Dorval, François Dorval and Fidèle Dorval, two sisters, Marie-Anna Nadeau and Françoise Monfette. Family and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, July 13th at the St-Antoine-de-Padoue church beginning at 10:15 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Deacon Jean Beausoleil officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
