Etienne Joseph Papineau
Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès d’Etienne Papineau le mardi 25 février 2014 à l'Hôpital Sensenbrenner à l'âge de 73 ans. Il aimait jardiner, lire, jouer aux cartes, passer du temps au chalet avec sa famille et ses petits-enfants. Il a été enseignant, un membre des Chevaliers de Colomb et a joué un rôle important comme conseiller municipal pour la ville de Kapuskasing. Il laisse dans le deuil Suzanne, la mère de ses enfants, trois enfants, Terry (Lyse Anne), Lori-Ann et Tricia (Derrick), deux frères, Roger (Lyse) et Fernand (Yolande), deux soeurs, Claudette Loiselle et Liliane Champagne (Ron), un beau-frère, Fred Ward, ainsi que ses petits-enfants, Éric, Sébastien, Maxime, Isabelle, Adrian, Caleb, Sydney, Philippe, Zachary et Hazel. Il fut prédécédé par un frère, Roland, deux soeurs, Simone Robinson et Cécile Ward. La célébration eucharistique aura lieu le vendredi 28 février en l'église Notre-Dame-des-Victoires à 10h30 avec le Père Gilles Gosselin comme célébrant. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à l’Hôpital Sensenbrenner pour les soins de longue durée. ©
We regret to announce the death of Etienne Papineau on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Sensenbrenner Hospital at the age of 73. He enjoyed gardening, reading, playing cards and spending time at his cottage with his family and grandchildren. He was a teacher, a member of the Knights of Columbus and made an important contribution as municipal councillor for the Town of Kapuskasing. He is survived by Suzanne, the mother of his children, his three children, Terry (Lyse Anne), Lori-Ann and Tricia (Derrick), four siblings, Roger (Lyse), Fernand (Yolande), Claudette Loiselle and Liliane Champagne (Ronald), one brother-in-law, Fred Ward, as well as his grandchildren, Éric, Sébastien, Maxime, Isabelle, Adrian, Caleb, Sydney, Philippe, Zachary and Hazel. He was predeceased by three siblings, Roland, Simone Robinson and Cécile Ward. The funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th at Notre-Dame-des-Victoires church at 10:30 a.m. with Father Gilles Gosselin officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Sensenbrenner Hospital, Long Term Unit would be greatly appreciated. ©
