Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Fernand Audet le mercredi 19 juin 2019 à Extendicare Kapuskasing à l'âge de 92 ans. Comme passe-temps, il aimait faire du camping, de la marche, voyager, regarder le hockey, de la menuiserie et, dans ses dernières années, jouer au Bingo et au Chromino. Fernand a travaillé comme mécanicien industriel à la Spruce Falls pendant plusieurs années et était membre aussi des Chevaliers de Colomb.

Il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants: René (Nicole) de Earlton, Lorraine Brunet (Lucien) de Kapuskasing et Luc (Erika) de St-Thomas; six petits-enfants: Guylaine, Marc, Michel, Natalie, Rémi et Lisa; huit arrière-petits-enfants: Miguelle, Audrée, Adèle, Alek, Kloée, Levi, Bobby et Ryan; deux soeurs: Yvette Lemieux de Kapuskasing et Rita Roy d'Ottawa; ainsi que plusieurs beaux-frères, belles-soeurs, neveux et nièces. Il fut prédécédé par son épouse, Gisèle; une petite-fille: Lina Brunet; quatre frères; Lionel, Léo, Gérard et Jean; et trois soeurs: Estelle Boisvert, Juliette Audet et Jeannette Levesque.

Fernand Audet reposera au Salon Funéraire Guenette dimanche de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h. La Célébration Eucharistique aura lieu le lundi 24 juin, à 10h30 en l'église Immaculée-Conception avec Père Gérald Chalifoux comme célébrant. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons au Fonds de loisirs des résidents du Foyer Extendicare. ©




We regret to announce the death of Fernand Audet on June 19, 2019 at Extendicare Kapuskasing at the age of 92 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed camping, going for walks, travelling, watching hockey, woodworking, and in his later years, he enjoyed playing Bingo and Chromino. Fernand worked as a millwright for many years at Spruce Falls and was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.

He will be greatly missed by his children: René (Nicole) of Earlton, Lorraine Brunet (Lucien) of Kapuskasing and Luc (Erika) of St. Thomas; six grandchildren: Guylaine, Marc, Michel, Natalie, Rémi and Lisa; eight great-grandchildren: Miguelle, Audrée, Adèle, Alek, Kloée, Levi, Bobby and Ryan; two sisters: Yvette Lemieux of Kapuskasing and Rita Roy of Ottawa; as well as many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his wife Gisèle; one granddaughter, Lina Brunet; four brothers; Lionel, Léo, Gérard and Jean; and three sisters: Estelle Boisvert, Juliette Audet and Jeannette Levesque.

Fernand Audet will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, June 24th at 10:30 a.m. at the Immaculée-Conception Church with Father Gérald Chalifoux officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Extendicare Residents’ Fund would be greatly appreciated. ©
