Gabrielle Alig (Girard)
Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Gabrielle Alig (née Girard) le lundi 25 mai 2015 au Manoir North Centennial à l'âge de 96 ans.
Elle faisait partie de l'U.C.F.O. et du Club de l'Âge d'Or. Comme passe-temps, Gabrielle aimait tricoter, jouer aux cartes et au bingo, ainsi que trouver des mots cachés. Elle aimait beaucoup rire avec sa famille et ses amis. Gabrielle avait un cœur d'or, et était sociable et généreuse.
Elle laisse dans le deuil sept enfants: Yvonne, Henriette, Helen (Jim), Bertrand (Marquise), Evelyne (Claude), Suzanne, et Luc; ainsi que plusieurs petits-enfants et arrière-petits-enfants. Elle fut prédécédée par ses époux, Ulysse Gaudreault et Georges Alig; ainsi que deux fils: Florian et Georges Jr.; un beau-fils, Ernest Gagnon; trois frères: Adéodat, Roland et Edgar Girard; une sœur, Germaine Beauvais; trois belles-sœurs; et un beau-frère. Gabrielle Alig reposera à la salle paroissiale Nativité-de-Marie à Moonbeam le samedi 30 mai à partir de 13 heures. La Célébration Eucharistique suivra à 15h30 en l'église Nativité-de-Marie avec Père Fernand Villeneuve comme célébrant. L’inhumation suivra au Cimetière de Moonbeam. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons au Manoir North Centennial, la Société Alzheimer ou l’Association canadienne du diabète. ©
We regret to announce the death of Gabrielle Alig (née Girard) on May 25, 2015 at North Centennial Manor at the age of 96 years.
She was a member of the U.C.F.O. and the Golden Age Club. In her spare time, Gabrielle enjoyed knitting, playing cards and bingo, as well as solving word searches. She especially enjoyed laughing with family and friends. Gabrielle had a heart of gold and was a sociable and generous person.
She is survived by seven children: Yvonne, Henriette, Helen (Jim), Bertrand (Marquise), Evelyne (Claude), Suzanne, and Luc; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husbands, Ulysse Gaudreault and Georges Alig; two sons : Florian and Georges Jr.; one son-in-law, Ernest Gagnon; three brothers: Adéodat, Roland and Edgar Girard; one sister, Germaine Beauvais; three sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law.
Gabrielle Alig will be resting at the Nativité-de-Marie parish hall in Moonbeam on Saturday, May 30th beginning at 1:00 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 3:30 p.m. in the Nativité-de-Marie church with Father Fernand Villeneuve officiating. Burial will follow at the Moonbeam Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the North Centennial Manor, the Alzheimer Society, or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated. ©
