We regret to announce the death of Gary Prokopick on May 1, 2013 at the age of 59 years. He is survived by his two sons, Michael of North Bay and Alex of Englehart; the mother of his sons, Sandra McLean of Englehart; by his six siblings: Sandy Libby wife of Eric, Susan deMontigny wife of Daniel, Andrew, Shellie Lincez wife of Denis all of Kapuskasing, Daniel husband of Jane of Stratford and Sharon Oehlrich wife of Michael of North Bay; one sister-in-law, Diane Prokopick of Kapuskasing; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Mabel and John Prokopick; one brother, Edward Prokopick and one nephew, Tyler Libby.
He enjoyed camping, playing darts and spending time with his family; his boys meant the world to him. Gary was a big jokester, always telling jokes and playing pranks. He was a member of the Algonquin Regiment and of the Royal Canadian Legion.
Gary Prokopick will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Monday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 7th in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Anne Stenabaugh officiating. Burial will be held at the Kapuskasing Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the North Centennial Manor would be greatly appreciated. ©

Gary Prokopick reposera au Salon Funéraire Guenette lundi de 19h à 21h. La Célébration Eucharistique aura lieu le mardi 7 mai, en la chapelle du salon funéraire à 11h00 avec Anne Stenabaugh comme célébrant. L'inhumation aura lieu au cimetière de Kapuskasing. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons au Manoir North Centennial. ©
