The family regrets to announce with great sorrow his unexpected death on February 4, 2008 at the age of 47. Beloved husband of 25 years of Jeannine (Pelland), their marriage was always bonded by true devotion and love. He was a devoted and cherished father to Jennifer (Kevin Blais) and Christopher of Kapuskasing. Dear brother of Thérèse Vachon (Michel) of Hearst and Ginette Neil (Joe) of Picton. Brother–in-law to Cécile (Bob Karius), Albert Pelland (Diane), Thérèse (Léon Savard), Simone Pelland, Léo Pelland, France Thelland, Raymond (Brenda) Pelland, Lucille (Barney) Chouinard, Julie (Steve Bell), Noëlla (Paul Robillard), Rita Pelland (Mike Chatelain), Diane (Gilles Jacques). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Georges and Aurore Beaudoin, his two sisters Jacinthe and Monique Beaudoin all of Hearst, by his in-laws Florimond and Jeanne Pelland, brothers-in-law, Georges Pelland and Roger Pelland. Visitation was held on Friday, February 8 from 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral service followed on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at St. Patrick’s church with Father Fernand Villeneuve officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Northern Corridor Children’s Fund would be greatly appreciated. Gaetan was known for his loving and nurturing ways, his kind and loving spirit, he was loved by all. He was a devoted husband, father, friend and co-worker. He will be greatly missed.
