We regret to announce the death of Gertrude Scott on September 13, 2015 at the Golden Manor in Timmins at the age of 94 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting and baking.
She will be greatly missed by her children: Edward (Ted) husband of Carla of Stayner, Sharron Johnston wife of Bob of South Porcupine, and Nancy Stenabaugh wife of Barry of Lively; her grandchildren: Karyn, Sheryl, Scott, Colleen, Stacey, and Tim; as well as her 3 great-grandchildren: Dante, Lucy, and Sebastian. She was predeceased her husband, Edward; her children, Neil and Laurie Scott; one grandson, David Johnston; as well three sisters: Emily Johnston, Nellie Dahlin, and Georgina Ledger; and three brothers: Jim, Jack and Norm Killick.
Gertrude Scott will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 17th at St. Mark's Anglican Church at 10:30 a.m. with Reverend Valerie Isaac officiating. Burial will follow at the Kapuskasing Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Mark's Anglican Church or the Kapuskasing Association for Community Living would be greatly appreciated.

Gertrude Scott reposera au Salon Funéraire Guenette mercredi de 14h à 16h et 19h à 21h. La Célébration Eucharistique aura lieu le jeudi 17 septembre, à 10h30 en l'église St. Mark avec Révérende Valerie Isaac comme célébrant. L'inhumation suivra au Cimetière de Kapusasing. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à l'église St-Mark. ©
