Nous regrettons d’annoncer le décès soudain de Ghislain « Lelain » Aubertin, à l'âge de 55 ans, le jeudi 21 mars 2024. Lelain était un homme attentionné qui aimait être entouré de sa famille, en particulier ses petits-enfants. Il était souvent au coeur de la fête, et rien ne le rendait plus heureux que de faire rire les gens. Pendant son temps libre, il aimait travailler dans son garage. Conducteur de camion grumier, il était très fier de posséder sa propre entreprise.
Lelain laisse dans le deuil son épouse, Suzanne; ses enfants : Allison (Darin McCausland), Meagan, et Brendan (Sarah Carroll), tous de Kapuskasing; ses petits-enfants : Logan et Kenley; son père : Rémi; ses frères et sœurs : Johanne Aubertin (Richard Duguay) de Moonbeam, Bertrand (Hélène) de Val-Côté, Marie-Marthe Aubertin (David Longpré) de Kapuskasing, et Richard (Cathy) de Hearst.
Il fut prédécédé par sa mère, Marie-Jeanne; et un frère, Jean-Yves Aubertin.
Une célébration de la vie de Lelain aura lieu à une date ultérieure. La famille sera très reconnaissante de dons à la Fondation des maladies du cœur comme témoignages de sympathie. ©
We regret to announce the sudden passing of Ghislain "Lelain" Aubertin, at the age of 55 years, on Thursday, March 21, 2024. Lelain was a thoughtful man who loved to be surrounded by his family, especially his grandchildren. He was often the life of the party, and nothing made him happier than making people laugh. In his spare time, Lelain enjoyed working in his garage. He was also a log truck driver, who took great pride in having his own business.
Lelain is survived by his wife, Suzanne; his children: Allison (Darin McCausland), Meagan, and Brendan (Sarah Carroll), all of Kapuskasing; his grandchildren: Logan, and Kenley; his father: Rémi; his brothers and sisters: Johanne Aubertin (Richard Duguay) of Moonbeam, Bertrand (Hélène) of Val-Côté, Marie-Marthe Aubertin (David Longpré) of Kapuskasing, and Richard (Cathy) of Hearst.
Lelain was predeceased by his mother, Marie-Jeanne; and a brother, Jean-Yves Aubertin.
A celebration of Lelain's life will be held at a later date. The family would be very grateful for donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation as expressions of sympathy. ©
