Obituary for Gilberte Landry

Gilberte Landry
We regret to announce the death of Gilberte Landry on June 23, 2013 at the age of 77 years. She passed away peacefully at the Ottawa General Hospital surrounded by her family. In her spare time she enjoyed camping, gardening, cooking and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Jocelyne of Ottawa; four sons: Donald husband of Nadine of Newmarket, Gerald of Ottawa, Robert husband of Penny of Timmins and Rudy husband of France of Casselman. She has 6 grandchildren: Marc, Daniel, Jeremy, Karelle, Micael, Rakaya and 2 great-grandchildren: Mia and Darren. She also leaves behind her twin sister, Juliette Goldrop of Midland, and also her brother, Serge Forest of Kapuskasing. She was predeceased by her husband Rodolphe Landry. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 6th at Immaculée-Conception church at 10:30 am with Father Jean-Paul Decarie officiating. Burial will follow at the Kapuskasing Cemetery.

Gilberte Landry est décédée paisiblement le 23 juin 2013, à l’âge de 77 ans, entourée de sa famille, à l’Hôpital Général d’Ottawa. Dans ses heures de loisir, elle jouissait du camping, le jardinage, la cuisson et passer du temps avec ses enfants et petits-enfants. Elle laisse pour pleurer sa perte sa fille Jocelyne d’Ottawa; quatre fils : Donald époux de Nadine de Newmarket, Gérald d’Ottawa, Robert époux de Penny de Timmins et Rudy époux de France de Casselman. Lui survivent également six petits-enfants : Marc, Daniel, Jeremy, Karelle, Micael, Rakaya; et deux arrière- petits-enfants : Mia et Darren. Elle laisse également sa sœur jumelle, Juliette Goldrop de Midland et son frère Serge Forest de Kapuskasing. Elle fut prédécédée par son époux Rodolphe Landry. Le service funéraire aura lieu le samedi 6 juillet en l’église Immaculée-Conception à 10h30 avec le père Jean-Paul Décarie comme célébrant. L’inhumation suivra au cimetière de Kapuskasing.
