Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Grace McLaughlin le 18 septembre, 2013 à Montréal à l'âge de 79 ans. Elle aimait cuisinier et préparer les mets préférés pour chaque membre de sa famille, jouer aux cartes, coudre et passer du temps précieux avec ses petits-enfants. Elle laisse dans le deuil son époux Fred de Montréal, trois enfants, Robert (Margo) de Montréal, Doris Gagnon (Daniel) de Kapuskasing et Maryse Merrick (Glen) de Coquitlam, Colombie-Britannique, deux sœurs, Gertrude Lapierre (Julien) d’Ottawa et Ida Savard (Jean-Marc) de Kapuskasing, deux frères, Armand Chainey (Evelyn) et Raymond Chainey (Rita) de Kapuskasing, ainsi que sept petits-enfants, Angie, Alain, Noah, Stéphanie, Aaron, Annie et Emma, quatre arrière-petits-enfants, Cale, Pepper, Alex et Julie. Elle fut prédécédée par une sœur, Rita Cayouette et un frère, Odina Chainey. Un service commémoratif aura lieu le samedi 28 septembre en l'église Immaculée-Conception à 10h30 avec le Père Gilles Gosselin comme célébrant. L'Inhumation suivra au cimetière de Kapuskasing. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à la Société canadienne du cancer. ©

We regret to announce the death of Grace McLaughlin on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at the age of 79. She enjoyed cooking and preparing everyone's favorite dish, sewing, playing cards and spending precious time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Fred of Montreal, three children, Robert (Margo) of Montreal, Doris Gagnon (Daniel) of Kapuskasing and Maryse Merrick (Glen) of Coquitlam, two sisters, Gertrude Lapierre (Julien) of Ottawa and Ida Savard (Jean-Marc) of Kapuskasing, two brothers, Armand Chainey (Evelyn) and Raymond Chainey (Rita) of Kapuskasing, as well as seven grandchildren, Angie, Alain, Noah, Stéphanie, Aaron, Annie and Emma, four great grandchildren, Cale, Pepper, Alex and Julie. She was predeceased by one sister, Rita Cayouette and one brother, Odina Chainey. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 28th at the Immaculee-Conception church at 10:30 a.m. with Father Gilles Gosselin officiating. Burial to follow at the Kapuskasing cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. ©
