Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Gérard Petit le dimanche 16 septembre 2018 à l'âge de 76 ans. Comme passe-temps, Gérard aimait faire de la chasse et aller à son camp en forêt. Il était un menuisier pour Hydro One pendant plus de 25 ans et était membre du United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, section locale 2486.

Il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants: Robert de Sudbury et Chantal Spiller de Kirkland Lake; ses petits-enfants: Brandon Petit, Samantha Thibeault, Jesse Thomas, Michael Spiller, et Lauren Spiller; ainsi qu’un frère: Denis Petit de Smooth Rock Falls. Il fut prédécédé par ses parents: Adélard et Stella Petit; une soeur, Violet Dubord; et un frère, Yvon Petit.

Gérard Petit reposera au Salon Funéraire Guenette le vendredi 21 septembre à partir de midi. Un service commémoratif suivra à 13h30 dans la chapelle du Salon Funéraire avec Père Hervé Sauvé comme célébrant. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à l’Association pulmonaire. ©


We regret to announce the death of Gérard Petit on September 16, 2018 at the age of 76 years. In his spare time, Gérard enjoyed hunting and going to his camp. He was a carpenter for Hydro One for over 25 years and was a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, local 2486.

He will be greatly missed by his children: Robert of Sudbury and Chantal Spiller of Kirkland Lake; his grandchildren: Brandon Petit, Samantha Thibeault, Jesse Thomas, Michael Spiller, and Lauren Spiller; as well as one brother: Denis Petit of Smooth Rock Falls. He was predeceased by his parents: Adélard and Stella Petit; one sister, Violet Dubord; and one brother, Yvon Petit.

Gérard Petit will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Friday, September 21st beginning at 12 noon. A memorial service will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with Father Hervé Sauvé officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Lung Association would be greatly appreciated. ©
