Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Guy Léonard survenu subitement après un sévère ACV, le dimanche 7 juin 2015 à l'hôpital de Thunder Bay à l'âge de 70 ans. Guy était un fervent amateur de pêche et il aimait socialiser et faire du bénévolat avec ses amis de La Forge et de Cité des Jeunes.
Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse, Eva (née Bergeron); une fille, Maelee et son conjoint Clandro Cautillo de Barrie. Il laisse aussi deux soeurs: Joëlle Côté épouse d'Yvon de Kapuskasing et Suzette d'Ottawa; et deux frères: Patrick époux de Dianne de Kapuskasing et Gaston de Fort Francis. Il fut prédécédé par ses parents: Hervé et Jeanne D'Arc Léonard; et ses beaux-parents: Ferdinand et Annette Bergeron.
Guy reposera au Salon Funéraire Guenette vendredi de 19h à 21h. Un service commémoratif privé aura lieu à une date ultérieure. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à l'oeuvre de bienfaisance de votre choix. ©

We regret to announce the sudden death of Guy Léonard on June 7, 2015 at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre at the age of 70 years. Guy was an avid angler and enjoyed socializing and volunteering with his friends from La Forge and Cité des Jeunes.
He is survived by his wife, Eva (née Bergeron); one daughter, Maelee and her friend Clandro Cautillo of Barrie. He is also survived by two sisters: Joëlle Côté wife of Yvon of Kapuskasing and Suzette of Ottawa; and two brothers: Patrick husband of Dianne of Kapuskasing and Gaston of Fort Francis. He was predeceased by his parents: Hervé and Jeanne D'Arc Léonard; and his parents-in-law: Ferdinand and Annette Bergeron.
Guy will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Friday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. ©
