Obituary for Helen Borkowski

Helen Borkowski
We regret to announce the death of Helen Borkowski on Friday, October 4, 2013 at Sensenbrenner Hospital in Kapuskasing at the age of 87. She is survived by her children, Richard Danielski husband of Carolan of Kapuskasing and Peter Borkowski husband of Carmel of Kanata, two sisters, Mary Szyjka of Kapuskasing and Veronica of Poland, one nephew, Wesley Szyjka husband of Lydia of Kapuskasing, as well as three grandchildren, Matthew, Michael and Terri. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael Borkowski and six siblings. Helen Borkowski will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Monday, October 7th from 7 to 9 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 9th at 1:30 p.m. at Victoria Lawn Cemetery in St. Catharines. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Extendicare Kapuskasing Resident's Fund would be greatly appreciated.


Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Helen Borkowski le vendredi 4 octobre à l’Hôpital Sensenbrenner à l'âge de 87 ans. Elle laisse dans le deuil deux fils, Richard Danielski époux de Carolan de Kapuskasing et Peter Borkowski époux de Carmel de Kanata, deux sœurs, Mary Szyjka de Kapuskasing et Veronica de la Pologne, un neveu, Wesley Szyjka époux de Lydia de Kapuskasing, ainsi que trois petits-enfants, Matthew, Michael et Terri. Elle fut prédécédée par son époux, Michael Borkowski et six frères et sœurs. Helen Borkowski reposera au Salon Funéraire Guenette, lundi le 7 octobre de 19h à 21h. Un service suivra au cimetière Victoria Lawn à St. Catharines, le mercredi 9 octobre à 13h30. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons au Foyer Extendicare Kapuskasing©
