We regret to announce the death of Hilda Curtis at the age of 89 years, on Thursday, January 28, 2021, at North Centennial Manor. Hilda enjoyed gardening and assisting missions through her church group. She is survived by her five children: Jerry Murdoch (Claudette) of Sault Ste. Marie, Eric Murdoch (Darlene) of Kapuskasing, Gordon Murdoch (Diane) of Ottawa, Brenda Bélanger (Dan) and Lynn Murdoch of Kapuskasing; her brother, Alvin Mahaffy of Haliburton; as well as 15 grand-children and 24 great-grand-children. She was predeceased by her husbands: Reed Murdoch, Larry Schultz and John Russell Curtis; her son, Raymond Murdoch; daughter-in-law, Marie; as well as her sister, Pearl Briggs. The funeral service will be held at a later date at Abundant Life Christian Fellowship church. As expressions of sympathy, donations to North Centennial Manor would be greatly appreciated. ©

Hilda fut une femme de grande foi qui aimait soutenir des missions étrangères avec son groupe d’église, et le jardinage. Elle laisse dans le deuil ses cinq enfants : Jerry Murdoch (Claudette) de Sault Ste. Marie, Eric Murdoch (Darlene) de Kapuskasing, Gordon Murdoch (Diane) d’Ottawa, Brenda Bélanger (Dan) et Lynn Murdoch de Kapuskasing; un frère, Alvin Mahaffy de Haliburton; ainsi que quinze petits-enfants et treize arrière-petits-enfants.
Elle fut prédécédée par ses époux : Reed Murdoch, Larry Schultz et John Russell Curtis; son fils, Raymond Murdoch; sa belle-fille, Marie; ainsi qu’une sœur, Pearl Briggs. Le service funéraire aura lieu à une date ultérieure en l'église Abundant Life Christian Fellowship. La famille sera reconnaissante des dons au Manoir North Centennial comme témoignage de sympathie. ©
