Obituary for Ian Grant

Ian Grant
We regret to announce the death of Ian Grant on April 24, 2019 at Sensenbrenner Hospital at the age of 84 years. In his spare time, Ian enjoyed camping, was an avid hunter and fisherman, and enjoyed playing and watching hockey. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather, who always kept himself busy - whether it was volunteering with the Red Cross Meals on Wheels program or working around the house. He was also a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion.

He will be greatly missed by his wife, Margo; his children, Deborah McCartney (Barry) of Fonthill, and Kevin Adamo of Orangeville; three grandchildren: Grant, Andrew, and Amanda; two great-granddaughters; one sister-in-law, Beatrice Grant; as well as seven nieces and nephews: Patrick Collins, Peggy Anne Endean, John Collins Jr., Jim Grant, Peter Grant, and Allison Felix. He was predeceased by his parents: Robert McLaren Grant and Annie Bain; two brothers: Robert and James Grant; one sister, Margaret Collins; and one niece, Nancy Burh.

Ian Grant will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Saturday, May 18th beginning at 10:00 a.m. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Father Fernand Villeneuve officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Sensenbrenner Hospital CT Scan Fund would be greatly appreciated. ©
