It is with sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Ida Lanteigne at the age of 84 years, on Sunday, June 27, 2021, while surrounded by her family. She will be greatly missed by one son, Denis Lanteigne (Joan) of Manitouwadge; four grandchildren: Cody, Tessa, Dylan and Selina; one stepson, Joel Savard; one sister, Gertrude Lapierre of Kapuskasing; one sister-in-law, Cécile Chainey of Kapuskasing; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Lucien Lanteigne; her partner, Jean-Marc Savard; her parents, André and Virginie Chainey; three brothers: Raymond, Armand, and Odina Chainey; and two sisters: Rita Cayouette, and Grace McLaughlin.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. The family would greatly appreciate donations to the Canadian Cancer Society as expressions of sympathy. ©



C’est avec grande tristesse que nous annonçons le décès paisible d’Ida Lanteigne à l’âge de 84 ans, le dimanche 27 juin 2021, avec sa famille à ses côtés. Elle laisse pour pleurer sa perte son fils, Denis Lanteigne (Joan) de Manitouwadge; quatre petits-enfants : Cody, Tessa, Dylan et Selina; un beau-fils, Joel Savard; une sœur, Gertrude Lapierre de Kapuskasing; une belle-sœur, Cécile Chainey de Kapuskasing; ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces. Elle fut prédécédée par son époux, Lucien Lanteigne; son conjoint, Jean-Marc Savard; ses parents, André et Virginie Chainey; trois frères : Raymond, Armand, et Odina Chainey; et deux sœurs : Rita Cayouette et Grace McLaughlin.

Un service commémoratif aura lieu à une date ultérieure. La famille sera très reconnaissante de dons à la Société canadienne du cancer comme témoignage de sympathie. ©
