We regret to announce the death of Irene Brown on Thursday, August 8 at the Sensenbrenner Hospital at the age of 91. She enjoyed seniors skating, knitting, line dancing, travelling, biking, walking and reading. She is survived by her children; Richard (Deborah) of Kamloops and Linda Brown (Michael Henderson) of Kitchener, three sisters; Florence Miles of North Bay, Evelyn Peever of Iroquois Falls and Fleurette Graham of Collingwood, as well as her grandchildren; Erika, Tiffany and Dayna, four great-grandchildren; Tristan, Leo, Luka and Dominic. She was predeceased by her husband Norman, her siblings; Robert Cousineau, Rita Paten and Jeannette Dicario. Irene Brown will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Friday September 6, from 9:00 a.m., with the funeral service to follow in the Chapel at 10:00 a.m., with Deaconess Anne Stenabaugh officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Northern Corridor Children's Fund would be greatly appreciated. ©

Elle aimait patiner avec d’autres aînés, tricoter, la danse de ligne, voyager, le cyclisme, la marche et la lecture. Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants; Richard (Deborah) de Kamloops et Linda Brown (Michael Henderson) de Kitchener, trois sœurs; Florence Miles de North Bay, Evelyn Peever d’Iroquois Falls et Fleurette Graham de Collingwood, ainsi que ses petites-filles; Erika, Tiffany et Dayna, quatre arrière-petits-enfants; Tristan, Leo, Luka et Dominic. Elle fut prédécédée par son époux Norman, ses frères et sœurs; Robert Cousineau, Rita Paten et Jeannette Dicario. Irene Brown reposera au Salon Funéraire Guenette le vendredi 6 septembre à compter de 9h00. Un service commémoratif suivra à 10h00 dans la chapelle avec la Diaconesse Anne Stenabaugh comme célébrante. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à la Fondation des enfants du corridor du Nord. ©
