Obituary for James Jaworski

The Jaworski family are sad to announce the peaceful passing of James Stephen Jaworski, 59 years old, on Friday January 6, 2017 in Kapuskasing, Ontario.
He was born in Sudbury, Ontario on September 26, 1957 to Lorne and Sylvia Jaworski. He lived most of his life between Sudbury, Ontario and Masset, British Columbia.
James was a passionate member of the RCMP for 15 years until he was forced into retirement in 1996 due to illness. He was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion for 20 years.
The years he spent after leaving the force were filled with hunting, fishing, agate collection on the beaches of the Queen Charlotte Islands and drinking coffee with his friends.
He enjoyed betting on football games with his father and believed that spending time with his family was the most important thing.
He was a loving father to Bryan Jaworski of Victoria, British Columbia and Maegann Jaworski of Red Deer, Alberta. He was pre-deceased by his father Lorne Joachim Jaworski. He is survived by his mother, Sylvia (Dupuis) Jaworski, his siblings, Kathy Zidar, David (Betsy) Jaworski, Debbie (Rheal) Morin, Christine Jaworski, Michael (Danielle) Jaworski, Stephen (Lynda) Jaworski; and also his loving nephews: Andre, Michel and Steve and his niece Melissa.
He will also be missed by his friends in Masset, Sudbury and fellow members of the RCMP.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 5 at 11:00 a.m. at 1168 West Bay Road in Capreol on Lake Wanapitei.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made on behalf of James to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 85, 4 Government Road, Kapuskasing and/or Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 244, Masset, British Columbia, V0T 1M0
