Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Jean-Marc McLaughlin le jeudi 12 juillet à l’Hôpital Sensenbrenner à l'âge de 71 ans. Il aimait fabriquer des maisons d'oiseaux, le plein air et se promener en scooter. Il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants, Francine McLaughlin (Gilles Dorval), Maurice McLaughlin de Kapuskasing et Chantal McLaughlin (Chad Millette) de Wawa, sa mère, Jeanne D'Arc de Val-Rita, ses frères et soeurs, Roger (Florence), Normand (Rachelle), Suzanne Landriault (Roger), Rita Gagné, Yvette McLaughlin et Guy (Linda) de Kapuskasing, Lise Godin-Raby, Blanche Préjean (Sonny) de Fauquier, Joanne Thiffeault (Paul), Patsy Thiffeault (Gilles) de Val-Rita, une belle-soeur, Carole McLaughlin de Kapuskasing, ainsi que cinq petits-enfants, Jeannine, France, Daniel, Kayley et Jesse, six arrière-petits-enfants, Brian, Philipe, Logan, William, Avery et Mielah. Il fut prédécédé par son père Gilbert et un frère Edouard. La célébration eucharistique aura lieu le samedi 21 juillet à 10h30 en l'église Immaculée-Conception avec le Père Gérald Chalifoux comme célébrant. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à la Société canadienne du cancer. ©

We regret to announce the death of Jean-Marc McLaughlin on Thursday, July 12 at the Sensenbrenner Hospital at the age of 71 years. He enjoyed making bird houses and spending time outside on his scooter. He is survived by his children, Francine McLaughlin (Gilles Dorval), Maurice McLaughlin of Kapuskasing and Chantal McLaughlin (Chad Millette) of Wawa, his mother, Jeanne D'Arc of Val-Rita, his siblings, Roger (Florence), Normand (Rachelle), Suzanne Landriault (Roger), Rita Gagné, Yvette McLaughlin and Guy (Linda) of Kapuskasing, Lise Godin-Raby, Blanche Préjean (Sonny) of Fauquier, Joanne Thiffeault (Paul), Patsy Thiffeault (Gilles) of Val-Rita, one sister-in-law, Carole McLaughlin of Kapuskasing, as well as five grandchildren, Jeannine, France, Daniel, Kayley and Jesse, six great-grandchildren, Brian, Philipe, Logan, William, Avery and Mielah. He was predeceased by his father Gilbert and a brother Edouard. The funeral service will be held at the Immaculée-Conception church on Saturday, July 21 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Gérald Chalifoux officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. ©
