Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Jean-Paul Blier le vendredi 7 juin 2019 à l'Hôpital Sensenbrenner à l'âge de 79 ans. Comme passe-temps, il aimait faire de la pêche, la chasse, cueillir des bleuets, faire du jardinage, et surtout faire du camping. Sa famille était sa plus grande joie : il était un époux et un père dévoué.

Il laisse pour pleurer sa perte son épouse, Yolande; ses enfants: Brigitte Girard (feu Léon), Sylvie, Linda (Gérald Levesque) et Roland (Jackie); sept petits-enfants, sept arrière-petits-enfants; sa demi-mère, Yvette Dion; ainsi que deux soeurs: Agathe Blier et Lucille Slight; et deux frères: Maurice et Réjean Blier. Il fut prédécédé par une petite-fille, Stéphanie; ses parents: Donat Blier et Rachel Nadeau; trois frères: Normand, Gilles et René; et une soeur: Antoinette Caron.

La Célébration Eucharistique aura lieu le mercredi 12 juin à 10h30 en l'église Notre-Dame-des-Victoires avec Père Rémi Lessard comme célébrant. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons au conseil de famille du Manoir North Centennial. ©




We regret to announce the death of Jean-Paul Blier on June 7, 2019 at Sensenbrenner Hospital at the age of 79 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, picking blueberries, gardening, and especially camping. His biggest joy however, was his family – he was a devoted husband and father.

He will be greatly missed by his wife, Yolande; his children: Brigitte Girard (late Léon), Sylvie, Linda (Gérald Levesque) and Roland (Jackie); seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, his step-mother, Yvette Dion; as well as two sisters: Agathe Blier and Lucille Slight; and two brothers: Maurice and Réjean Blier. He was predeceased by one granddaughter, Stéphanie; his parents: Donat Blier and Rachel Nadeau; three brothers: Normand, Gilles and René; and one sister: Antoinette Caron.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 12th at 10:30 a.m. at Notre-Dame-des-Victoires church with Father Rémi Lessard officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the North Centennial Manor Family Council would be greatly appreciated. ©
