Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Jean-Paul Gravel le lundi 6 janvier 2014 au Manoir North Centennial à Kapuskasing à l'âge de 92 ans. Il laisse pour pleurer sa perte 2 fils: Gilles Gravel époux de Brenda de Kapuskasing, Dr Michel Gravel de Fauquier; 3 petits-enfants: Paul époux de Nancy de Kapuskasing, Sarah Gravel épouse de Joey DePinto de Porcupine, Michael d'Ottawa et 1 arrière-petite-fille: Chelsey. Il fut prédécédé par son épouse Clara et 1 frère Joseph Gravel. Il aimait travailler dans son atelier, avec ses tracteurs et fabriquer des pièces pour les gens. Il a été membre des Chevaliers de Colomb depuis 1942. Jean-Paul Gravel reposera dans la salle communautaire de Fauquier le vendredi 10 janvier 2014 de 19 h – 21 h. La Célébration eucharistique aura lieu le samedi 11 janvier 2014 en l'église Ste-Agnès à Fauquier à 10h30 avec le Père Fernand Villeneuve comme célébrant. L'incinération a eu lieu au crématoire Hillcrest.Comme témoignage de sympathie, on sera très reconnaissant de dons à la Société canadienne du cancer. ©

We regret to announce the death of Jean-Paul Gravel on Monday January 6, 2014 at North Centennial Manor in Kapuskasing at the age of 92 years. He is survived by 2 sons: Gilles Gravel husband of Brenda of Kapuskasing, Dr. Michel Gravel of Fauquier; 3 grandchildren: Paul husband of Nancy of Kapuskasing, Sarah Gravel wife of Joey DePinto of Porcupine, Michael of Ottawa and 1 great-granddaughter: Chelsey. He was predeceased by his wife Clara and 1 brother Joseph Gravel. He enjoyed working in his workshop, with his tractors as well as fabricating parts for friends. He had been a Knight of Colombus since 1942. Jean-Paul Gravel will be resting at the Fauquier Community Centre on Friday January 10, 2014 from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2014 at the Ste-Agnès Church in Fauquier at 10:30 AM with Father Fernand Villeneuve officiating. Cremation was held at the Hillcrest Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. ©
