Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Jeanne D'Arc Poisson, à l'âge de 88 ans, le vendredi 8 juillet 2022, à l'Hôpital Sensenbrenner. Comme passe-temps, elle aimait tricoter, broder, jouer aux cartes et au bingo. Elle aimait également passer beaucoup de temps avec sa famille, surtout avec ses petits-enfants et arrière-petits-enfants qu'elle adorait. Elle était membre des Filles d'Isabelle.

Jeanne D'Arc laisse dans le deuil son époux, Yvan; ses enfants: Lynn Gauthier (Ronald) de Bourget, Jean de Kapuskasing, Bernard (Linda) de Kapuskasing, Francine Brouillette (feu Vital) de Moonbeam, Carole Poisson de Kapuskasing, Lise Poisson de Moonbeam, et Steve Poisson de Scarborough; ses petits-enfants: Marc Gauthier, Julie Gauthier (Eric Nadeau), Joey Poisson (Collette Godin), Jason Poisson (Mélanie Drainville), Jennifer Poisson, Eric Brouillette (Natasha), Alain Brouillette (Pam), Vicky Brouillette (Martin Tremblay), Valérie Duguay, et Kyle Allen; ses arrière-petits-enfants: Nikola, Annabelle, Émilie, Kayden, Brice, Blayre, Logan, Hailey, Maddison, et Karsen; une sœur, Florence Godin de Rouyn-Noranda; deux frères: Florent de Gatineau et Jacques Godin de Rouyn-Noranda; ainsi qu'une belle-sœur, Florestelle Boulay de Rouyn-Noranda; et un beau-frère, Aimé Poisson de Kapuskasing. Elle fut prédécédée par trois sœurs : Noëlla Godin, Gertrude Bégin, et Rose-Aimée Tremblay; cinq frères : Florian, Lorenzo, René, Phillippe, et Médée Godin.

Jeanne D'Arc Poisson reposera au Salon Funéraire Guenette le mardi 12 juillet 2022, à compter de 12h00. Une liturgie de la parole suivra à 14h avec Père Rémi Lessard comme célébrant. La famille sera très reconnaissante de dons à la Fondation des enfants du corridor du Nord comme témoignages de sympathie. ©

In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting, embroidery, playing cards and bingo. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren whom she adored. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella.

Jeanne D’Arc will also be missed by her sister, Florence Godin of Rouyn-Noranda; two brothers: Florent of Gatineau and Jacques Godin of Rouyn-Noranda; as well as one sister-in-law, Florestelle Boulay of Rouyn-Noranda; and one brother-in-law, Aimé Poisson of Kapuskasing.

Jeanne D’Arc was predeceased by three sisters: Noëlla Godin, Gertrude Bégin, and Rose-Aimée Tremblay; and five brothers: Florian, Lorenzo, René, Phillippe, and Médée Godin.

Jeanne D’Arc will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, beginning at 12:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Father Rémi Lessard officiating. The family would greatly appreciate donations to the Northern Corridor Children’s Fund as expressions of sympathy. ©
