Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Jeannette Léonard le samedi 26 octobre 2019 à l’Hôpital Sensenbrenner à l'âge de 83 ans. Elle était un membre très engagé des Filles d'Isabelle, ayant déjà servi comme Régente, et aimait préparer les repas. Comme passe-temps, Jeannette aimait tricoter, tisser, la lecture, cuisiner, confectionner des pâtisseries et voyager.

Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants: André Tremblay (Kathy) de Corbeil, Diane Tremblay de Parry Sound, Daniel (Deb) de Kapuskasing, Lynn Guerette (Guy) d'Azilda, Louis Tremblay (Francine) de St. Catharines et Angèle Abraham (Steve) de Burlington; quatre sœurs : Pauline Léonard de Toronto, Raymonde Roberge d'Elliot Lake, Francine Whelan de Thessalon, et Lorraine Léonard de Montréal; un frère, Jean-Yves Léonard de Kapuskasing; ainsi que quinze petits-enfants : Ashley, Allyson, Danny, Natalie, Travis, Chimere, Stetson, Chantalle, Courtney, Kayla, Raymond, Alain, Karine, Erica et Trent; et vingt-deux arrière-petits-enfants. Elle fut prédécédée par son époux, Robert Tremblay; et un frère, René Léonard.

La Célébration Eucharistique aura lieu le samedi 2 novembre à 10h30 en l'église Immaculée-Conception avec Père Sébastien Groleau comme célébrant. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à la Banque alimentaire de Kapuskasing, ou à l’Hôpital Sensenbrenner pour l’achat d’un tomodensitomètre. ©



We regret to announce the death of Jeannette Léonard on October 26, 2019 at the Sensenbrenner Hospital at the age of 83 years. She was a very active member of the Daughters of Isabella – she always volunteered to make meals and served as past Regent. In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting, weaving, reading, cooking, baking, and travelling.

She will be greatly missed by her children: André Tremblay (Kathy) of Corbeil, Diane Tremblay of Parry Sound, Daniel (Deb) of Kapuskasing, Lynn Guerette (Guy) of Azilda, Louis Tremblay (Francine) of St. Catharines and Angèle Abraham (Steve) of Burlington, four sisters: Pauline Léonard of Toronto, Raymonde Roberge of Elliot Lake, Francine Whelan of Thessalon, and Lorraine Léonard of Montréal; one brother: Jean-Yves of Kapuskasing; as well as fifteen grandchildren: Ashley, Allyson, Danny, Natalie, Travis, Chimere, Stetson, Chantalle, Courtney, Kayla, Raymond, Alain, Karine, Erica and Trent; and twenty-two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Tremblay; and one brother, René Léonard.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 2 at 10:30 a.m. at the Immaculée-Conception church, with Father Sébastien Groleau officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Kapuskasing Food Bank or the Sensenbrenner Hospital CT Scan Fund would be greatly appreciated. ©
