We regret to announce the passing of Jeannine Pecile (née Labelle) on December 21, 2017 at Sensenbrenner Hospital at the age of 86 years. She was born in Frederick House near Cochrane. She worked in Cochrane, London, then she started working at Sensenbrenner Hospital in Kapuskasing. During this time, she stayed at a rooming house where she met her future husband, Erminio. Jeannine was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who immensely enjoyed spending as much time as possible with all of her family & friends and welcomed any reason to celebrate together. She had a wonderful sense of humour and enjoyed music and singing with the family. She was kind, thoughtful, devoted, caring and was always putting others first. She could remember everyone’s birthdays and anniversaries. In her spare time, she enjoyed creating recipes that were passed down from her mother, such as Heavenly Rhubarb Jam. She was a woman of faith.

She will be greatly missed by her children: Nora Davidson (John) of Kapuskasing, Marina Badiuk (Ken) and Pietro (Kim Gosselin) all of Thunder Bay; her grandchildren: William, John, Shayna, Zalus and Zyla; her sisters: Rita Labelle of Iroquois Falls, Aline Myrvang (Len) of Hope, BC, and Denise Pope (Jack) of Kapuskasing; and her brothers: Marcel (Frances), Lucien, Pierre (Mary), Leonard all of Cochrane, and Denis (Jeannine) Labelle of Ottawa. She was predeceased by her husband, Erminio; her parents: Louis and Malvina Labelle; and her siblings: Gaston Labelle, Solange Bondy, Theresa DeJoseph, Edmond Labelle, Donald Labelle, and Bibiane Labelle.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 26th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's church with Father Hervé Sauvé officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the CT Scanner Fund at the Sensenbrenner Hospital would be greatly appreciated. ©



Nous regrettons d’annoncer le décès de Jeannine Pecile (née Labelle) le 21 décembre 2017 à l’hôpital Sensenbrenner à l’âge de 86 ans. Jeannine est née à Frederick House près de Cochrane. Elle a travaillé à Cochrane et London, puis elle a commencé à travailler à l’hôpital Sensenbrenner à Kapuskasing. Pendant ce temps, Jeannine a demeuré dans une maison de chambres où elle a rencontré son futur époux, Erminio. Jeannine était dévouée comme épouse, mère, grand-mère et sœur, aimait bien passer autant de temps possible avec toute sa famille et ses amis, cherchant toute occasion de fêter ensemble. Elle avait un merveilleux sens d’humour et jouissait de la musique et du chant en famille. Jeannine était une femme gentille, obligeante, dévouée et bienveillante qui mettait toujours l’intérêt des autres en premier. Elle pouvait se rappeler les fêtes et les anniversaires de tous et chacun. Dans ses heures de loisir, elle aimait recréer des recettes transmises par sa mère, telle que sa délicieuse confiture à la rhubarbe.

Femme de grande foi, Jeannine manquera beaucoup à ses enfants : Nora Davidson (John) de Kapuskasing, Marina Badiuk (Ken) et Pietro (Kim Gosselin) tous de Thunder Bay; petits-enfants : William, John, Shayna, Zalus and Zyla; ses sœurs : Rita Labelle d’Iroquois Falls, Aline Myrvang (Len) de Hope, CB, et Denise Pope (Jack) de Kapuskasing; et ses frères Marcel (Frances), Lucien, Pierre (Mary), Leonard, tous de Cochrane, et Denis (Jeannine) Labelle d’Ottawa. Elle fut prédécédée par son époux Erminio; ses parents, Louis et Malvina Labelle; et ses frères et sœurs : Gaston Labelle, Solange Bondy, Theresa DeJoseph, Edmond Labelle, Donald Labelle, et Bibiane Labelle.

Un service commémoratif aura lieu le mardi 26 décembre à 10h30 en l’église St. Patrick's avec le père Hervé Sauvé comme célébrant. La famille serait très reconnaissante de dons au Fonds de tomodensitomètre à l’hôpital Sensenbrenner comme témoignage de sympathie. ©
