Obituary for Jessie-Ann Hassell

Jessie-Ann Hassell
It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the death of Jessie-Ann (Nan) Hassell (nee Robertson) at the North Centennial Manor, (Kapuskasing), surrounded by family & friends, on June 25th at the age of 91. She is survived by her daughter Georgina (Nina) of Kapuskasing and her grandson Warren (Soyeon) Barriault of Brampton, her sister Ena Arnot of Kitchener, her brother and sister-in-law Chick & Clem Hassell of Millbrook as well as numerous nieces & nephews. She will be very dearly missed by all that knew and loved her. She was predeceased by her husband Robert (Bob), her parents Georgina & William Robertson and her brothers Walter and George Robertson. The family would like to thank Dr. Milner and the staff of the North Centennial Manor for the compassionate care given to Nan during her stay there and also to Rev. James Ko. Very special thanks to Inez, Janet and Lorraine for their unwavering love and support through everything. We will be forever grateful. Nan will be cremated at the Hillcrest Crematorium. At Nan’s request there will be no visitation or funeral. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
