Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Joachim Vallières à l'âge de 98 ans, le mercredi 24 août 2022, au Manoir North Centennial, Kapuskasing. Il fut membre des Chevaliers de Colomb et La Forge. Il aimait le jardinage et la menuiserie. Joachim fut le propriétaire et exploitant de Joe's Body Shop pendant de nombreuses années. Il était un homme vaillant qui a toujours subvenu aux besoins de sa famille.
Joachim laisse dans le deuil son épouse, Marguerite; ses enfants : Alain (Diane) de Jackson's Point, Richard (Lyne), Dianne Carrière (Aurel), Hélène Czuba (Ted), Linda Boudreau (Charlie Le Saux) de Kapuskasing, Suzanne Vallières de Salaberry-de-Valleyfield et Lise Lallier (Claude) de Moonbeam; une belle-fille, Murielle Vallières de Kapuskasing; ainsi que treize petits-enfants : Kevin, Shawn, Jessica, Sophie, Mélanie, Nancy, Paul, Marie-Geneviève, Patrick, Austin, Renée, Erik et Tressa; et treize arrière-petits-enfants.
Joachim fut prédécédé par ses enfants; Raymond, Diane et Raymond; une petite-fille, Jennifer Lallier; un petit-fils, Clovis Vallières; ainsi que seize frères et sœurs.
Un service commémoratif privé aura lieu à une date ultérieure. La famille désire remercier le personnel du Manoir pour les bons soins prodigués. La famille sera reconnaissante de dons à la Société Alzheimer comme témoignages de sympathie. ©

We regret to announce the death of Joachim Vallières, at the age of 98 years, on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at North Centennial Manor, Kapuskasing. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and La Forge. Joachim enjoyed gardening and woodworking. He was the owner/operator of Joe's Body Shop for many years. He was a
very hard worker who always provided for his family.
Joachim is survived by his wife, Marguerite; his children: Alain (Diane) of Jackson's Point, Richard (Lyne), Dianne Carrière (Aurel), Hélène Czuba (Ted), Linda Boudreau (Charlie Le Saux) of Kapuskasing, Suzanne Vallières of Salaberry-de-Valleyfield and Lise Lallier (Claude) of Moonbeam; one daughter-in-law, Murielle Vallières of Kapuskasing; as well as thirteen grandchildren: Kevin, Shawn, Jessica, Sophie, Mélanie, Nancy, Paul, Marie-Geneviève, Patrick, Austin, Renée, Erik and Tressa; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Joachim was predeceased by his children: Raymond, Diane and Raymond; two grandchildren: Jennifer Lallier and Clovis Vallières; as well as sixteen siblings. A private funeral service will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank the staff of North Centennial Manor for the care provided to our father. Donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. ©
